Manchester City has found themselves digging deep into the purple patch of positive shapes of the Premier League.
The city’s latest victory overcame David Moyes’ resolved Everton 2-0 at Goodison Park on Saturday. That means gripping at locations within the coveted Champions League spots is further strengthened in the fourth position.
However, Guardiola is far too aware that this summer with his team still needs to be restructured with the allegedly re-established statement move, which is said to have been made to land the sensational midfield star.
Man City is preparing to bid for “The Best Midfielder in the World”
City began rebuilding in January with signing Omar Marmash, Abdukodil Kusanov and Nico Gonzalez, but Guardiola needs a fresher face with the team as players like Kevin de Bruin could be sent off.
Transfer focus
Mega Money deals, controversial moves, famous flops. This is the home of transfer news and opinions across Football FanCust.
Well, according to a report from Spain, the real-life Premier League champions are preparing to “break the market” to land Barcelona Ace Pedri.
In fact, the report looks at alternative targets away from Bayer Leverkusen superstar Florian Wiltz, who can move to the UK and stay in Germany, and says it will lead to this new and expensive measure where a record-breaking move could come into play.
Of course, this would be a challenging deal to get past the line, but if the 21-year-old leaves Catalonia on top flight adventures elsewhere, Guardiola and Co can send shockwaves through the Premier League.
After being told by football analyst Ben Matinson as “the best commercial in the world,” Pedri’s incredible arrival will undoubtedly improve at the heart of the city.
Pedri is better than gundo guns
Like the respected de Bruin, Gundogan showed off his obvious class on the citizens’ top flight, with 62 goals and 42 assists notched from his bumper 348 appearance.
However, Germany has only made seven aging contributions in 44 appearances this season. In the middle of the Etihad park, a new ace with Gundogan no longer his vibrant vest lined up as he leaves Manchester soon.
This is a Spanish “transcendence” game in the midfield area of Campnoe, where the city’s potential new £170 million man’s elegance could be useful.
Two of Pedri’s 12 goal contributions of the season took part in the glorious competition. The 22-year-old, 22, boasts four goals and four assists in rally gun action this season, and Trump Gundogan’s unconvincing five assists and zero goals in the Primer League.

Looking at the table above, Gandogan is better at Pedri in terms of pass completion statistics, but Valkan No. 8 appears to be playing with far more intentions and objectives than Borussia Dortmund’s counterpart before he advanced with a progressive pass of 10.14 averaged for each contest last year.
This alone made me know that I could go back to Manchester and have music in ears like Omar Marmash and Erling Haaland, and that Pedri could quickly unleash his defense with a killer pass.
According to Fbref, Pedri also resembles Bernardo Silva’s fantastic game in Etihad, but it feels like a switch that allows the city to enter a new chapter with confidence, even if they have to look back on goodbye to say goodbye to respected servants such as Gundogan.
