Los Angeles starter Tyler Glasnow has acquired a “injury prone” label for much of his professional career.
Many injuries limit his actual inning count. On the one hand, it’s not the worst thing in the world for a starting pitcher. One only uses so many “bullets” and Glasnow’s speaks of itself. It’s the best in baseball and a big reason why the team not only trades for him, but also devotes a five-year contract before throwing a single pitch for the franchise.

His health was expected to go up and down with the last year, but recent developments have made the pitcher a bit loose. He is consistently fighting the cramps in his lower body.
Glasnow spoke openly about the strange situation related to convulsions after coming out early Sunday’s game.
“It happens sporadically,” Glasnow said. “It’s not like fatigue. I tested hydration. I really don’t know why it keeps happening. I haven’t been in a while. … After a while, I get to where it’s completely locked up. I don’t know why.”
The outbreak led to Glasnow being lifted against the Phillies last weekend. When asked about himself, manager Dave Roberts said this:
“He’s dealing with things, but sometimes it seems something different,” Roberts said. “But that’s not because of a lack of desire. No one is more frustrated than him, especially when you’re selling well.”
With the on virtually every aspect of their operation, the team is certainly tinkering with some things to prevent them from suffering from these convulsion problems in the future. Without a doubt, the 6-foot-8 right-hander is a major piece for this team as it appears to be repeated as World Series champions.
