Juventus is reportedly ready to sell Nicolo Savona this summer, amid interest from West Ham United.
Hammer is rumoured to be interested in the 22-year-old, talented 22-year-old, who is becoming a regular on Juve’s first team this season.
It wasn’t the best season for the Turin Giants, but Savona’s development at right back was really positive for the club.
Still, Serie’s outfits look like a big boost to West Ham, and look ready to let Savona go for the right price.
Nicolo Sabona’s transfer to West Ham explained
According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercatoweb, Savona continues to dominate the future of the younger defender as he is on a contract with Juventus until 2029.
Juve doesn’t need to sell cheaply, but they don’t seem to rule out the exits entirely, giving West Ham a potential opportunity.
The East Londoner brought Aaron Wanbissaka from Manchester United last summer and he’s doing well on the right back, but there may be room for Graham Potter to add even more depth.
It will be interesting to see if Sabona himself wants to move, but the move to the Premier League will definitely appeal to many players.
West Ham managed to snap this promising young talent, but at the same time, it seems difficult to imagine that it will become one of their top priorities when many other areas of the team need to urgently strengthen after a poor season.
