The Minnesota Timberwolves battle continues as the first round of war with the Los Angeles Lakers continues.

After drawing the first blood in a compelling way for the series opener, the Minnesota Timberwolves were immediately encountered a strong retaliation from La Lakers Game 2.

The T-Wolve got cold for Game 2 and Anthony Edwards admitted that the Lakers’ defensive looks gave him some challenges he struggled to find a solution.

And while they currently have a home court advantage for games 3 and 4, NBA analyst Bill Simmons warned TO-Olves to be on guard about Mike Conley’s struggle after a 0-point outing in the second game.

In Game 3, the Timberwolves are considering all the options, and head coach Chris Finch has expressed his openness to play more Terrence Shannon Jr.

During the T-Wolves practice session on April 24, the Minnesota head coach admitted that despite minimal behavior, he was impressed by how the 24-year-old went on in the series.

“He’s solid, he did a good job,” Finch said.

“He did a really good job in the minutes he was there, maybe we’ll use him more.

“When we got into this series, we felt he was someone we could use, and that was a good first step for him.”

A Timberwolves’ acclaimed first-round pick from the 2024 NBA Draft, Shannon Jr. entered Minnesota and left Illinois’s great college run.

Unfortunately, due to the depth of his team, the 24-year-old played modestly as Timberwolf in his rookie year, averaging 4.3 points, 1.5 boards and 1.0 assists in 10.6 minutes with 32 games.

Finch trusted his play in the team’s Game 2 loss in LA. He appeared for seven minutes and tallied two points.

His on-court exposure may be short, but it was noteworthy for the Timberwolves talent. He was able to advance more playwrights while Minnesota’s key players were on temporary rest.

Edwards’ shoulder injury is a surveillance issue for the Timberwolves for the rest of the series, so Shannon Jr.
