Manchester United manager Reuben Amorim answered questions about the ongoing forward link with wolf forward Matthew Cunya.
Brazil International scored an impressive season in the Premier League this semester, contributing 16 goals and four assists in total.
It’s easy to see why big clubs like Man UTD are keen on Cunha. It is one of many outlets that suggests that this deal is progressing, indicating that contracts may already exist more than in the summer.
Amorim declined to comment on any of the speculations, according to Fabrizio Romano in X’s post…
United fans will certainly love the hints from Amorim as this story gets hot, but it’s also completely normal to wait until everything is absolutely 100% done before the manager makes a statement.
Cunha has been praised by Amorim before, but last week, Portuguese tacticians highlighted the 25-year-old as a “quality” player who poses a wolf threat when visiting Old Trafford.
No transfer from Matheus Cunha to Manchester United has been confirmed yet
Cunha checks a bunch of boxes for MUFC, so before you ask anything more specific about this, I imagine it’s only a matter of time.
Everything appears to be heading in the right direction, and United fans hope that this big name doesn’t have to wait too long for it to arrive like everyone else.
According to Ben Jacobs of the X-Post above, the Red Devils are also paying attention to Ipswich town striker Liam Dellup and are keen to make these deals early this summer if possible.
Cunha and Delap can be an exciting combination, with both Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund needing United to replace them.
