Will Leeds United be able to integrate themselves as a suitable outfit for next season’s Premier League after they finally break the championship grip?
That’s certainly easier than saying, considering all three promotional teams that rose at the end of the 2023/24 campaign are back straight back to the EFL’s top league after a short-lived top flight stay.
Moreover, Daniel Fark himself has a rough track record in the Premier League, earning six career wins at tricky levels, leading to speculation surrounding his future at Elland Road, allowing him to let go despite his great help in bringing the whites.
To support their mission to float, one of Leeds’ tactics during the summer transfer period is to poach some of the championship crop cream.
Who can sign this summer Leeds
Before we introduce some of the best of the EFL, it may be that white people are considering strengthening it courtesy of Premier League players.
Inevitably, rumors linking Calvin Phillips to a return have remained in the background in recent months, but West Ham midfielder Thomas Sousek reportedly became the target of the club last week.
But who else is on their radar?
Now, heading towards the 2024/25 campaign, they were permanently linked to Sheffield United playmaker Gustavo Hammer.
Leeds will snap Jaden Bogle out of the blade, of course, but this other switch won’t go ahead, with the former Coventry City attacker winning the Championship Player Award at the EFL Award this weekend for his efforts under the wing of Chris Wilder.
Getting such a recognition can successfully rekindle the interest of the promoted side, and Hammer must compete for Premier League locations throughout the playoffs this season.
It’s a move that Pandit Lee Hendry thinks he has his feet as well. He tells the world of football leagues: Anyway, it’s definitely a championship in that position. ”
Why Hammer is a massive upgrade for Aaronson
Signing Hammer, who is said to be the “incredible” player by former teammate Oli McBurney, allowed us to see Brenden Arsonson shoved on one side in Fark’s starting lineup.
Aaronson should be praised for returning to Whites’ setup this season after his time at Elland Road became sour, but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t ask for an upgrade if Premier League return is here.
The 24-year-old was loaned to Union Berlin for all of the 2023/24 season, shortly after his team reached the EFL. The 11th scored nine goals and two assists from the campaign where the 44 Championship returned to the first team fold.
Unfortunately for the rejuvenating USA International, he endured the personal end of the season despite sitting quite a bit in the top two in the league.
Meanwhile, Hammer has long been a constant threat for Wilder and Co, as seen through a gorgeous free kick with Coventry in March, with four of his 16 goal contributions in league action coming in United’s final six contests.

A specific Pablo Hernandez shade – a creative midfielder in goalscoring, Hammer certainly blows Aaronson out of the water with his outstanding Premier League output.
Leeds’ goals for 2024/25 were certainly not difficult, but he would be welcomed to Fark’s rank if the movement returns to movement.
And just as he energizes Left, who starred mostly in Bramal Lane this season, Hammer could potentially give him more hosts in offense ahead of a quality step-up.
