According to TeamTalk, Chelsea is preparing an ambitious £90 million double soup for defenders Dean Huizen and Mark Guech.

The Blues are looking to bolster their backline for the 2025/26 season, identifying two Premier League defenders as transfer targets.

Following another season of inconsistency under Enzo Maresca, the Blues want to reestablish themselves as a Premier League title contender and a Champions League regular

Chelsea is one of the top club hosts who track Bournemouth defender Fuizen, the 20-year-old Spanish centre-back who was impressed this season.

Huijsen’s command display, ball calmness and tactical intelligence have attracted attention from Liverpool, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

Despite the fierce competition, Chelsea viewed Huyssen as an important addition, and they are ready to go far in their pursuit to take him to the club.

A former Chelsea Academy graduate, Gehhi is also on the radar. Currently, the regular starter at Crystal Palace and England International, Guehi has matured into one of the most consistent centre-backs in the Premier League.

Guech’s contract at the palace will run until 2026, but interest has risen from both Chelsea and Liverpool, allowing the Palace to win cash for him this summer.

Chelsea is fifth in the Premier League and is seeking to qualify for the Champions League, but they are not guaranteed yet.

Both players, Huijsen and Guehi, want to play in the Champions League next season. At this point, the Bruce cannot guarantee that.

Huijsen and Guehi’s targets show that Chelsea are serious about fixing a long-standing defensive issue.

As for transfer targets, Bruce received another major boost as striker Victor Osimhen reportedly prefers to move to Stamford Bridge.

The Bruce is in front of the race cue to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jamie Gittens.
