Tom Thibodeau refused to accept any shortcomings when talking about the key decision that ended with the Knicks losing.

The New York Knicks lost at home in Game 5.

It was just a poor performance from the Knicks who couldn’t close the victory. The Pistons showed the fight where they won the sixth seed by raising and stealing another victory at Madison Square Garden.

Things are becoming hostile between both sides as Malik Beasley dug up Mikal Bridges after the match. Branson didn’t have the best time on the court last night.

But one of the many people is Tom Thibodeau, due to the loss last night. And the Knicks head coach explained his decision.

New York Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau was asked why he didn’t time out later in the game.

Thibodeau defended his decision, and had to consider the timeouts and flow of the game, and there were factors that others hadn’t considered when it came to decisions.

“We were using the timeout. Coach’s decision… you feel that the next possession will clean it up. There’s a lot to it.”

Branson and Hart joined the game with just 27 seconds left after things ended. The Knicks continue to lose just three points.

The New York Knicks don’t have a chance to run a deep playoff without Jaylen Branson. He’s gone far ahead of their best.

Branson recently showed his glow in the fourth quarter, scoring 15 points in the final moments of Game 4.

He showed that when the lights are bright, he can take the ball and know exactly what he needs.

In Game 6 in Detroit, the Knicks will need Branson to step up one more time to avoid facing Game 7 in their second straight playoff series in two years.
