The Indiana Pacers’ dramatic Game 5 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks was undermined by controversy.
With a thrilling end to Game 5, after clinching their first round series around the Milwaukee Bucks, the Indiana Pacers quickly hosted a full party on the Gainbridge Field House floor. Everything was fun and game for the winner until the suspicious incident unfolded.
Giannis Antetokounmpo threw his nose to Tyrese Haliburton’s father furiously.
Sitting on the sidelines throughout the game in favour of Indiana, John Halliburton had to raid the court immediately after the final buzzer, defeating the Bucks superstars and separate both.
Giannis described the conflict as “disrespectful” and called for Halliburton’s dad to throw out explicit words during his standoff.
In the case of John Halliburton, he has already apologized for the scandal he’s made for himself and the Pacers, and was sent humbly and humbled by the senses of Milwaukee.
He took over what Halliburton’s father did during the Game 5 match. And in these, Charles Berkley is simply unhappy about how it all came out of John’s antics.
“I’ve never seen it before. I’ve never seen parents in the NBA for over 40 years (like that)
“It was like AAU crap. You know how much I hate AAU. It’s like these parents. I think they can scream their kids to the NBA. It drives me flat.
“But they apologise, and let me know something, Giannis is one of my favorite players. He became one of my favorite players last night.
“Damn, I wouldn’t have recorded him, and I’m not trying to be a fake tough guy on TV.
“There’s no way, and as I say, I’m not trying to become a fake tough guy, but in the heat of the moment, Giannis said, “I didn’t know it was his dad.”
Typically, teams suspend or impose a permanent ban on certain individuals or fans who suddenly enter hardwoods during an NBA game.
In the John Halliburton situation, he enjoys a great privilege to avoid potential sanctions from the Pacers organization, especially considering the fact that he is the father of the superstars of their franchise.
“I don’t even know what the appropriate punishment is,” Barkley pointed out. “As I say, it’s good that both of you both apologize. I don’t know what the punishment was or what was fair.”
However, with the Pacers ready to play top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round, Berkley believes Indiana’s Games 3 and 4 suspension is already a legitimate punishment for Elder Halliburton.
“It’s fair, it’s fair. I don’t think he should be executed, but hey, I don’t think you can come to the next two, the next two games at home.”
