Arsenal and Liverpool are among the clubs eager to sign Celtic attacker Deisen Maeda at the end of the season.
According to a TBR Football report, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs are also monitoring his situation. The 27-year-old has an uncertain future and he recently revealed that he is unsure if he will be in Celtic for the long term.
Tottenham was also enthusiastic about players last year.
Daizen Maeda is not sure about the future of Celtic
He said on Sky Sports: “Well, I don’t know. That’s a difficult question.
“While I’m here, I always want to fight and play for Celtic. I want to keep focused and playing for the team.”
The players have scored 33 goals in all competitions this season in an exceptional way. He earned 11 assists along the way. He proved to be a quality acquisition of Arsenal and Liverpool. He is said to be a “physical beast” and a “machine.”
Arsenal and Liverpool need Meisen Maeda
Arsenal needs more depth on the sides so that it can be rotated like Gabriel Martinelli and Bucayo Saka. Japan International adds goals, pace and talent aside.
Similarly, Liverpool needs more depth even in a wider region. Luis Diaz is sometimes inconsistent, and players like Federico Chiesa have failed to convince their managers after they arrive. Liverpool could use another goalscoring winger, and Japan International could be an ideal acquisition.
Liverpool is free to use Wataru’s ending and it will be interesting to see if the Japanese international midfielder can play an important role in persuading his fellow countrymen to move to Anfield. It would be difficult to refuse the opportunity to join a club like Liverpool or Arsenal because of Maeda. It is a big step in his career and he aims to fight for a big trophy with them.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool are fighting for the league title and the Champions League. They were able to provide a platform for 27-year-olds to fulfill their near future ambitions.
