Breaking: Stamp Fairtex Relinquishes ONE Atomweight Title Due to Injury, ONE 173 in Denver Rescheduled for 2026

Stamp Fairtex is no longer one Atomweight World Champion.

On Thursday, one championship announced that Stamp had officially withdrawn from a scheduled title unification clash with interim atomic-level title holder Dennis Zamboanga. The game was expected to find 173 on Friday, August 1 at the Ball Arena at “Mile High City” in Denver, Colorado.

Unfortunately, that’s not the case any more.

Several weeks before she fought Zamboanga at 167 in June 2024, Stamp was forced to resign from the match after tore Meniscus during training. She has been undergoing surgery ever since and appeared to be on the path to recovery.

According to the official press release of the promotion, the Thai superstar suffered from set-offs during his recovery, not only returning from the contest, but also forced him to completely abandon his atomweight title.

As a result, Zamboanga will be promoted from a provisional atomic-grade title holder to an indisputable champion.

And I’m worried there might be more bad news.

173 Denver travelled in June 2026 for Stamp injuries and unconcrete battles

Officially postponed his return to the US and pushed the 2025 Summer Card to June 26, 2026. The promotion ultimately decided to reschedule the event as multiple championship fights failed to come true.

“We are sad to hear of her defeating the set-off of injuries. We hope that she only wants the best on the path to recovery,” one Chatri Sityodtong said in a statement. “After seeing multiple alternative headline options that unfortunately have not been combined, we made the difficult decision to move the Denver event to June 26th.

“When bringing the world’s largest martial arts organization to the United States, we strive to provide the best products to our passionate American fan base and make the most interesting and memorable shows possible.

The next event in one championship will be 31st Night of One Battle on Prime Video, which emanates from the legendary Lumpini Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, May 2nd.
