With their championship season over, Leeds can begin preparing to return to the Premier League. Daniel Fark’s team will need significant additions to ensure they can compete effectively on top flights, and one area to deal with is defense.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Leeds had signed Eric Deer. They have since moved to other targets.
Leonardo Baradi has been with Marseille since 2021, but his four-year stay in France may be coming to an end.
Leeds is chasing Leonardo Balladi’s summer deal
As the Sun reported ((Mot Leeds News), Leeds sent scouts in recent weeks to observe Balerdi’s performance.
At 26, Baladi already has a lot of experience playing at the top European football level, and the experience is something Leeds needs to add to the team for the Premier League. So it makes great sense to be required to do business with Marseille.
Balerdi could be one of several signatures Leeds makes during the future transfer window. They are expected to sign Manor Solomon permanently from Tottenham, but Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff is also on their agenda. It is still unknown who had arrived exactly at Elland Road by the end of the summer, but no matter who, Fark’s team appears to be quite different compared to the current method.
