The Denver Nuggets under David Adelman did something their teams have never achieved in Game 7 of NBA history.

When the Denver Nuggets fired Michael Malone late in the regular season, many expected it to be the end of hope for the postseason.

But David Adelman stepped up and did a fantastic job. Denver defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in seven games to book a conference semi-final matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

It helps Nicola Jokic plays at a level where there are analysts compared to 2018’s LeBron James. And Adelman himself admitted that Jamal Murray was born at a major playoff moment.

However, their stars weren’t the only ones that the Nuggets achieved in Game 7 victory. The team came together to do something the NBA had never seen before.

Denver scored 120 points in a 19-point victory over the Clippers in a decisive game. Surprisingly, everyone in the opening five scored over 15 points.

Michael Porter Jr. was exactly 15, while Nicola Jokic and Jamal Murray each scored 16. They matched with Russell Westbrook from the bench.

Aaron Gordon led the team with 22 points, while Christian Brown wasn’t too late with 21 points, including three points.

Essentially, Game 7 tends to score low in the cage. It was impressive that all six of these nuggets were able to score over 15 points, and this is the first time any team has done it.

The nuggets face OKC next. This is a difficult outlook for any team. In the Grizzlies’ first sweep, the Thunder averaged over 8.5 points on six players.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is undoubtedly the main man of the team, averaging 27.8 points in the playoffs. Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren are also efficient scorers.

The other three players on that list are Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Hartenstein and Isaiah Joe averaging 27 points per game in the playoffs.

If the nuggets upset them, they need more performances like Game 7. Superhuman efforts from Jokic and Murray alone are not enough to get the job done.

David Adelman will definitely focus on making it happen for his team, and they will enter the next series with the perfect notes.
