Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green talks about the two Houston Rockets stars after eliminating them in the first round.
The Houston Rockets finally snapped a four-year NBA playoff drought after winning the second species at the Western Conference.
However, the Rockets’ happiness was short-lived as it was eliminated by the Golden State Warriors in the opening round itself.
The series lasted up to seven games, but at the end of the day, the Warriors appeared as a great team, recording a dominant Game 7 victory.
Dub left with a first-round series victory, but several rocket players impressed the team’s veterans.
The most common name is nothing more than sophomore forward Amen Thompson, who even Stephen Curry admitted to giving him a nightmare on the defensive side of the floor.
After curry, Draymond Green recently spoke about Thompson and explained why he is a special talent for Rocket.
“Thompson played with a lot of forces. He got a chance to be special. I admire the young Bhora. He’s special, the way he defends, the way he gets downhill,” Green said.
He added:
Thompson averaged 15.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and played choking defenses with the Warriors.
Apart from Thompson, the 4X NBA champions were extremely impressed by what Rocket centre Alperen Sengung did during the contest.
“Senton, I have a lot of respect for him. I played a lot of people and I always tell people in the playoff series.
“You either lose all respect for someone, get respect, you respect someone, you see a lot of people looking at fakes because who really sees the real person.
Gaining such acclaim from a veteran veteran is not a small deal for Thompson and Senn. Now they have to respond to the hype and lead the Rocket to a sensational playoff run.
