Valentina Shevchenko begins a new title reign with some new stolen items at UFC 315.
On Saturday, Shevchenko will first defend the newly re-played female flyweight title against Manon Fiorot in the co-main event. When she does so, Shevchenko takes this opportunity to rock her custom uniform, featuring a green and gold dragon.
In recent years, the UFC has resorted to custom fight kits for specific champions and events. Last month, Alexander Volkanovsky got special shorts for his UFC 314 title fight with Diego Lopez. This is the first set of Shevchenko’s custom shorts, but she wore unique shorts as part of the Noche UFC production at UFC 306.
One of the most decorated fighters in MMA history, Shevchenko took on the women’s flyweight title from 2018 until she lost her belt to Alexa Grasso at UFC 285 in 2023.
Meanwhile, Fiorotto has been undefeated in the UFC with seven wins in the promotion since 2021. More recently, Fiorot won the unanimous decision over Erin Blanshfield and locked up a shot in Shevchenko’s new belt.
UFC 315 will be held this Saturday at Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
