Valentina Shevchenko is not interested in the story of Manon Fiorot’s garbage.
Emitted from the Bell Centre in Montreal, UFC 315 will see the “bullet” put her flyweight crown on the line for the first time since regaining gold in September. Hoping to cut back on her second governing shorts is Fiorot, the division’s second-place candidate.
From a lovely place in France, Philot is known for his respectful attitude within the octagon. However, “The Beast” is about to flip the script ahead of her first UFC title opportunity. Recently, Philot vowed to send Shevchenko to retirement, adding that he would steal the rumored superfight of Strawweight Queen Zhang Weri and the champion after the clash at Great White North.
In an exclusive interview with Stake.com, Shevchenko admitted that she was surprised by Fiorot’s comments, but she has not let it come to her.
“It was a bit strange to hear such things from her because she claims she is a respectful fighter, but obviously there isn’t that much anymore! But I don’t care.” “I know who I am, so I don’t care what the other person is thinking, what they are thinking. I know strategies for fighting. I know how to lead to a fight. That’s what’s important to me.
Is Valentina Shevchenko Snap Fiorot’s seven-year unbeaten winning streak?
Shevchenko is considered by many to be the biggest female fighter in MMA history, but Fiorot’s confidence is not misguided.
“The Beast” has not lost a match since the Cage Warriors clashed with Leah McCourt in 2018. Since then, she has won 14 consecutive wins.
