Steve Kerr told reporters the truth about Jonathan Cuminga, who could play in Game 3, and the players spoke about his return to form.

The Golden State Warriors were unable to win without Stephen Curry. Now they find themselves tied to the Minnesota Timber Wolves 1-1 in their second round series.

Anthony Edwards fought through injuries and helped bring the Timberwolves to a much needed victory. But the lack of curry really slowed down the warriors.

With his absence, several Fringe Warriors players got more minutes. Steve Kerr had said Pat Spencer as someone else instead of curry, which would buy more play time.

However, another star, who was on the sidelines, got a chance tonight. And he finally did enough to impress Steve Kerr.

Steve Kerr spoke after the Golden State Warriors lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves. As we discussed Jonathan Cuminga’s performance tonight, Kerr spoke in passionate words.

The Warriors head coach praised Kuminga for being ready and staying good at being. And Kerr admitted that Kuminga will be considered for a few minutes of Game 3.

“He did an amazing job. I was very proud of his prepared and positive way. This wasn’t an easy stretch for him.

“He went out there and did a great job and showed him what he was doing. He’s clearly back in Game 3 and we need him.”

As Carr said, this was a difficult stretch for Jonathan Cuminga. Kerr himself has been critical of Jonathan Cuminga many times.

Even Stephen Curry demanded better Cuminga. And now he has regained his confidence, so the young star is on the moon. He made a statement in post-game comments.

“If you leave for the first few minutes and then come back, you feel like your confidence has returned, especially knowing the way we started wasn’t that big.”

Perhaps this is the opportunity that Kuminga needs to gain Steve Kerr’s respect, and will likely give him the leverage to enter a free agency for the first time in his career.
