Crystal Palace is reportedly set to make a top priority for Newcastle United midfielder Joe Will Rock during the summer transfer period.
The former Arsenal youngster had a largely positive impact during his stay in Newcastle, but he is no longer a regular starter now as competition for locations at St. James Park is growing.
Imagine Willlock has a decent chance that could leave this summer, and it appears that the palace is doing its best to move in front of Queue for the 25-year-old signature.
That’s what he talked to a soccer insider, according to former Premier League scout Mick Brown.
Joe Willlock forwards insights from experts
“Crystal Palace is planning to explore a deal with Joe Wilk,” Brown said.
“The palace has always done their due diligence and has had scouts who have seen him as much as he can this season.
“They want to strengthen their teams and support their managers because they are great this season and could potentially be FA Cup winners.
“Wilck has no intention of joining the Newcastle team, and I’ve heard they’re happy to let go.
Newcastle will need the right money to sell Joe Willuck
“Of course, it has to be the right money for the club as well.
“He was a reliable player at Newcastle. He’s always come and work on the team, but he’s probably going to want to play regular football, not a starter in that midfield.
“He works hard, brings a lot of drive and energy to the team, which fits the palace and he’s not the type of player you have to run throughout the game.
“He deserves to check a lot of boxes for Crystal Palace and play regular first team football.
“So you wouldn’t be surprised to see that movement happen. I think it’s good for all involved.”
