Former player urges Liam Dellup to reject Man United for another Premier League club

Liam Dellup has become one of the most popular clubs this summer, with Man United and Chelsea allegedly following him. However, he is now told not to consider joining either club.

Delap was impressed with Ipswich this season, but his relegation has already been confirmed, so he is expected to leave to stay in the Premier League. He has attracted interest from many clubs, but according to the former footballer, he should head to East London.

Speaking on Talksport (via West Ham Zone), former Aston Villa player Gabby Agbonlahor urged Dellup to join West Ham such as Man United and Chelsea.

“If I were him, I’d not be going to Man United at this point. I won’t be staying in Ipswich, but I’ll go to West Ham.

There’s no doubt that Delap will become an attractive option for West Ham, who can afford his £30 million relegation release clause. On paper, he will definitely solve their striker problems, but if something like Man United or Chelsea make their move, the Hammer will find it very difficult to secure his signature.

It’s still unclear where Delap will end before the start of the next season. West Ham could be an option, but for now they’ll have to resort to Man United and Chelsea.
