Udonis Haslem had a surprising view on the Warriors’ trajectory if Stephen Curry were not injured.

The Golden State Warriors ended the season with the Minnesota Timber Wolves.

It was the bitter end of a season filled with ups and downs. Draymond Green has already vowed to return with Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler to win the NBA Championship.

Even Jimmy Butler has promised that he and Stephen Curry will return in vengeance next season. Much of the talk surrounding Curry was due to his injuries that left him out of the series.

Steve Kerr has completely refused to discuss whether Curry’s return during this series would make a difference. However, one of the former NBA stars was not restrained.

Udonis Haslem spoke today about the Golden State Warriors playoff exit in the NBA. The absence of Stephen Curry hurts the Warriors, but I’m not sure his return would make a big difference.

If anything, Haslem believes Curry’s return failed to turn things around for the Warriors, leading the series to a victory over the Timberwolves.

“The same result, there wouldn’t have been any difference. I think I’ll probably go to six or seven games. I don’t think Steph will go to all 40 or 50, six or seven games. So I think I’ll have the same results.”

“They need centers. They need more scoring. They need a few different things, but that’s the same for me.”

“Anthony Edwards was on his own mission, man. He’s not slowing down, man. They have one goal in mind, and that’s the championship.”

The Golden State Warriors will need to make some changes to their roster heading into the new season. The curry and Jimmy Butler pairing seemed shiny to some of the problems the team was facing.

First, Jonathan Cuminga’s future lies in the air. Some suggest that Kuminga will thrive on another team.

Brandin Podziemski won some criticism from Steve Kerr after Game 5. Obviously, the roster has not yet been built to compete for the NBA championship.

Mike Dunleavy Jr. is cutting out work for him in the summer as he is about to build around Curry, Butler and Draymond Green foundations.
