Six Nations Champions France will host Ireland at the 2026 edition opening fixture in February, with organizers confirming that the tournament will begin on Thursday night.

England will host Wales at Allianz Stadium in Twickenham on Saturday, February 7th. Scotland travels to Italy on the same day.

The contest will begin for the first time on Thursday night to avoid conflict with the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics held in Milan on Friday night.

The tournament featuring England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales will take place from February 5th to March 14th.

The final round will be “Super Saturday” on March 14th, with Ireland hosting the UK where Scotland and Italy welcome Wales and France.

France claimed the trophy of the seventh six countries in a 35-16 victory that recorded Scotland in March, winning the title for the first time since 2022.
