According to the latest update from former Scoutmic Brown, one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League hopes to sign Everton’s star this summer.
Everton fights to protect important men
There is a lot of focus on players the Blues can sign during the summer transfer period, but there are certain important figures that they will have to hold service before next season.
Jarrad Branthwaite is one such example, and England International continues to be impressed with Everton’s shirt, so it could have had a lot of interest from some big clubs. Manchester United, for example, is believed to be in the mix to sign him.
Some people can simply continue trading at the end of the season. Abdoulaye Doucure has linked to the Summer exit after an impressive spell with the Blues, scoring a very important goal, especially in 2023 with Bournemouth.
The same applies to Dominique Calvert Lewin. Dominique Calvert Lewin isn’t going to be easily played by this season, which has only started 19 times in the Premier League. He is also out of contract at the end of the season.
Chelsea nominated for Everton’s Star Branthawaite
I’ll talk Soccer InsiderBrown claimed that Chelsea would be interested in completing the signature of Everton’s centre-back Branthawaite this summer.
“There’s no doubt that the manager wants to improve his defensive options. They say they’re looking at Everton’s Jarad Bluntwaite. I think he’s a solid option for them, but I don’t think they’re completely certain.
“So if they’re spending that kind of money, they want players who make things like Colwill a really important upgrade and they’re not sure he’s that. That’s what they’ll consider and they’ll make that decision.
Brantewaite, who costs 35,000 pounds a week, is probably the most highly regarded in Everton, so he has to do everything he can to retain his services.
The 22-year-old once again became the rock at the heart of his side’s defense in 2024/25, making 30 appearances in the Premier League and averaged a whopping 6.3 clearances per game.
Bluntwaite has received so much worship in recent years after the rapid rise in Everton.
“Branthwaite is outstanding. I think this young man is pretty special. He’s a big part of why my Everton is up and has a partnership with him and his partnership (James).”

Everton must entertain the idea of allowing Bluntwaite to leave only if a monster offer arrives from Chelsea or elsewhere. But ideally, he will be with Bruce for years to come and become legendary over time.
