The 22-year-old is incredible in the Bundesliga and should prove to be a Liverpool exceptional acquisition. They need more cutting edge in the final third, and Wirtz adds goals and creativity to the side. His ability to slot into multiple offensive roles also becomes a bonus.
German internationals are needed as one of the best young offensive talents in world football, and he has the attributes to develop into a world-class player with proper guidance.
The 22-year-old is expected to be a record for the club signing Liverpool’s signature, and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to hit the ground running in the Premier League. He has no doubt the technical attributes to succeed in British football.
The player has 16 goals for his name this season, and he has 15 assists along the way. His numbers could improve when he is playing on a better team, along with world-class players like Mohamed Sarah.
British regular football helps him improve further and meet his world-class potential. Liverpool aims to quickly close the move and move on to other targets.
