Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho is reportedly facing an increasingly uncertain future at Old Trafford as new manager Reuben Amorim begins to rebuild his team with his image.
According to Football Insider, the Portuguese manager was not impressed with Garnacho’s attitude and application behind the scenes, making it clear that Argentina is not a central part of his long-term plan.
The 20-year-old Garnacho is one of United’s few bright sparks during the turbulent 2024/25 season.
However, Amorim, known for his tactical discipline and high standards of demand, is reportedly unhappy with the aspects of Ghanacho’s professionalism and training performance.

The player also expressed his disappointment after being dropped from the starting lineup for the Europa League final. It just shows that he does not have complete trust in the manager.
Former Man United Chief Scout Mick Brown provided the latest updates on Garnacho’s future at the club.
“It looks like Garnacho will leave this summer.” He told the soccer insider.
“He was upset that he was being removed from the team for the Europa League final.
“But this is not a decision made overnight, it has been going on for months.
“Amorim has forced him out and pushed him out because he feels he doesn’t fit his system and the way he wants to play.
“That’s fair enough. Every manager has a player that they like and doesn’t like.”
Amorim wants to reshuffle his attacks
There has not been a formal transfer discussion yet, but clubs are expected to hear the offer.
United are unlikely to let him go cheap by directing large transfer fees in his age and potential.
Just like the January transfer period, Chelsea is interested in signing the Argentine star this summer.
Like Garnacho, Joshua Zirkzee was also able to leave the club this summer with a big re-shuffle of United’s offensive options.
