Miles Turner believes Ty Halliburton redeemed himself after a great playoff out.

The Indiana Pacers will be heading for the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000. They defeated the New York Knicks thanks to a great Game 6 performance.

The Pacers made great defense against the Knicks, including limiting Josh Hart to just four points off the bench.

Magic Johnson blamed the towns of Jalen Branson and Karl Anthony on losses, but was a superstar for the other teams in charge of the victory.

Tyreese Halliburton dropped a double double with 21 points and 13 assists in the win. This performance is intended to dispel the long-running story about Ty Halliburton, at least if Miles Turner is believed.

After Game 6, Miles Turner showed some love to Ty Halliburton. He admitted that his Pacers teammates have proven beyond the shadow of doubt that he is a superstar.

As a superstar, Turner admitted that one of the things that come with the title is a relentless criticism. But the way he played, Halliburton ended up saying it was “overrated.”

“I’m very proud of Tyree. When it comes to being a superstar, you have to incorporate everything that comes with it. You have to take up highs and lows, good and bad.”

“From the start of the season to how he was dumped, to the way that basically everyone was trying to turn his head towards him. He kept his head down and working.”

“Even entering these playoffs is the whole thing that’s been “overrated.” We know we’re dead now. There’s not much you can say right now. I’m proud of the way he handled everything. It’s a lot of pressure and its main guy. ”

“People don’t think about things off the court. I think he did a great job, and it happened very quickly for him.

Turner references a recent poll of NBA players voted that Halliburton was “the most overrated.” Well, like he said, there is no merit to that discussion now.

Halliburton played him outside of his Abyssmal Game 5 performance and proved he was made for big moments.

Now, as he heads into the first NBA Finals, he faces a huge job. He and the Pacers try to defeat the mighty Oklahoma City lightning.

Without a doubt, Pacer will be a heavy underdog against the best team in the NBA. However, these last two playoff runs show that Halliburton could win the odds.
