Aston Villa midfielder Amadu Onana has linked his move away from the club during the summer transfer, and Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal is keen on him.
According to journalist Sacha Tabolieri, the Saudi Arabian outfit is investigating to sign a defensive midfielder, and it remains to be seen whether there will be an offer to sign him.
Onana does not rule out movements
The lecture is still very early on, and Saudi Arabian costumes have yet to advance official proposals. The Belgian midfielder is not averse to joining Saudi outfits, and he has yet to make any decisions about his future. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
Onana is proving herself in the Premier League with Everton and Aston Villa. There is no doubt that he will be a great deal of Al-Hilal acquisition. It is still unclear whether the Belgian is ready to move to Saudi Arabia at the peak of his career. He should continue playing European football and consider playing for top clubs. He will likely have many opportunities to move to Saudi Arabia in the future.
Aston Villas need to properly replace Amadu Onana
Meanwhile, Aston Villa will need to properly replace him if he decides to move on. They lack the quality and depth in the middle of the park. If Belgium leaves the club, signing a quality defensive midfielder is a priority for them.
The midfielder turned down Arsenal to join Aston Villa last summer.
It will be interesting to see if Saudi Arabian costumes will continue their interest in official offers in the coming weeks. There is no doubt that they have the financial resources to persuade the West Midlands club and players.
Onana can pocket a lucrative contract with Al-Hilal, and it may be difficult for him to turn down the opportunity.
