2025 Man TT Island: Major schedule change with Tuesday's race hit

Tuesday’s race action on Man TT Island in 2025 was subject to major schedule changes due to course conditions.

After a week of disruption to qualifying as a result of bad weather, race action on Man TT Island in 2025 finally progressed on Monday, June 2nd.

Three races were packed into the program on Monday, but all contests were reduced in distance due to the weather front starting at 5pm local time.

The superbike race opened up a schedule and ran on four laps, with Davey Tod defeating Michael Dunlop in his third TT victory.

The sidecar ran on two laps rather than three laps, with Ryan and Callum Crow earning their third TT victory, setting a new class lap record of 121.021 mph in the process.

The Supersports race concluded Monday’s action, with Michael Dunlop celebrating his 30th victory and winning Ducati’s first contest since 1995.

The race is scheduled to continue on Tuesday, June 3rd with a three-lap Superstock race at 10:45am local time and a three-lap Super Twin race at 2pm.

However, overnight rain and wind left the course in inappropriate condition due to the original start time.

The one-lap superstock warm-up lap was run late in the morning, but feedback from the riders was that the track was still too dangerous to continue racing.

Connor Cummins, Nathan Harrison and Dom Herbertson were all reported as course retirements during this lap.

Organizers confirmed that a three-lap Super Twin race will take place at 2:30pm before the roads open again.

A closed road emergency will be enacted tonight to allow Superstock races to run, but there is no time yet. The goal is thought to be to start at 6:30pm.

Roads will be closed from 6pm and must reopen by 9:30pm.

A shakedown wrap for the sidecar will be held on Tuesdays at 1pm.

The race is scheduled to continue through Wednesday with the second sidecar contest and the second Supersport race.

Thursday is currently listed as an emergency day that organizers should need, with the race ending on Friday and Saturday with the final Superstock and Superwin Contest, the Senior TT Finale.
