Former NBA star Paul Pierce suspects the Toronto Raptors will be a wise move for Giannis Antetocomo.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is the hottest fortune in the trade market if he decides to move on and leave Milwaukee this offseason.
Over the weekend, NBA insider Brian Windhorst claimed the Toronto Raptors were about to land “big fish,” and nothing bigger than Giannis.
The Raptors’ praise for the Bucks star returned to the 2013 draft where they tried to land him.

In the FS1 talk segment, former Celtics star Paul Pierce expressed doubt that Giannis Antetocomo could turn the Toronto Raptors into a title team and repeat the success of 2019.
He explained that the deal with Giannis is too light to build around him and can ask how raptors can “keep the pieces”;
The earrings explained: “Scotty Burns is the highlight there.
Proposed what the Bucks might say, he added: “The truth is, it needs a little more than Scotty Burns. We need RJ Barrett too.”
Pierce continued: “So you implemented Giannis, you’re paired with Brandon Ingram, and you say, and you say, is it enough to win the championship in the East? Perhaps not. So that makes the most sense to me.
“There are other teams where he can win the championship as long as he wins Giannis, where he makes better sense. Giannis from Houston wouldn’t be bad, for example, so you don’t know if it’s east.”
Pierce said you can see one aspect of Giannis Antetocompo seducing Toronto.
He said: “Toronto is great, I think it’s a great place, better than Milwaukee,
“The only way you can see him wanting to go there because he’s not approaching the championship and wants to live there.”
Paul Pierce believes the Minnesota Timberwolves should be Giannis Antetocomo’s dream destination in their efforts to add to the 2021 championship.
The Timberwolves have been shortened in the playoffs, losing the Western Conference Finals for the second year in a row, and Pierce believes their roster needs improvements.
“Minnesota makes the most sense to him. You combine him with the Ali man and give us some of the younger pieces they’ve got there.”
Asked about the possibility of exhausting their roster, Pierce believes they have a chance as long as Anthony Edwards remains.
“I had a three-year window with the guy Giannis and the Ali, and I’ll take it.”
