BCCI said there is no role in the RCB street celebrations. IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal expressed his deep sadness and made clear that the BCCI was not accountable as it was unaware of the post-city celebrations.

IPL Chair Arun Dhumal confirmed that BCCI did not know about victory parades and other postpost celebrations. IPL The celebration concluded on June 3rd, and the celebration took place just after the evening.

“It’s sad and tragic. The celebration has turned into a tragedy. Our sincere, sad dol’s opinion goes to a family that has lost a loved one. For BCCI, the IPL concluded last night. We didn’t know that such an incident was happening, so how can we be held accountable?” Arun Dhumal told India on Today.
Arun Dhumal also pointed out the lack of presence of IPL officials during the celebration. BCCI is not accountable for the incident as it has no control over the event and does not have specific knowledge of post-celebration.
No IPL officials were present at any of the stadium gates either. The arrangement was made by the state government and RCB management.
“How can we be held responsible for something like this? It is certainly a very tragic incident and we will extend the extension of the deepest Pathetic Dol. However, we cannot be held responsible for what happened directly outside the stadium. I am not sure if I have any specific knowledge about it. Dumar asked.
Arun Dhumal contacts RCB Management
After the incident, Dhumal contacted the RCB management and instructed them to organize the event. In response, RCB officials said they didn’t know what was going on outside.
“Have I contacted RCB officials? Yes, as soon as I was informed of the incident, I told them. They told me they were inside the stadium and didn’t know what was going on outside. Based on that conversation, I was told they had immediately cancelled the event.”
BCCI Director Devajit Saikia also responded to the incident, saying that the arrangement was lapsed and that BCCI does not have that role.
Virat Kohli’s reaction to stampedes
Virat Kohli The RCB management then expressed sadness to those who lost their lives in celebrating the team’s victory.
“My words are at a loss. It’s absolutely broken,” Virat Kohli wrote on Instagram after the incident. The arrangement was not done properly to control the large crowd.
