West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus is reportedly able to leave the club this summer at a discounted price.
Despite the various release clauses in his current contract, it is Hammer’s current horror.
According to a report by Give Me Sport, West Ham Fear Clubs will not pay these terms due to Kudos’ own desire to leave London Stadium.
Ghana International had a glow with East Londoners, but his second season with the club was also clearly much worse than his first season.
Now it seems unlikely that too many clubs are willing to pay Kudus over £805 million, but West Ham may feel pressured to sell unfortunate players.
What’s next for Mohammed Kudus?
According to a sports report to me, Kudus has three different release clauses. It costs £80 million for European clubs, £85 million for Premier League clubs and £120 million for Saudi Arabia clubs.
The former Ajax guy is a great talent of his time, but he was inconsistent enough to justify those prices.
It will be interesting to see how this situation is resolved, but it appears to be in an increasingly difficult situation here.
West Ham will need to make changes this summer
West Ham has been very poor in the 2024/25 season and manager Graham Potter is under pressure to improve things quickly.
That certainly means selling some low-performing players on this current team, including celebrities like Kudus and possibly Lucas Paqueta.
West Ham would have expected more from these players. These appeared to be inspiring and ambitious signatures when they first joined.
It is clear that many changes will be needed for this team if the Hammer bounces and improves next season.
