Manchester United were interested in signing Brentford attacker Brian Mbeumo during the summer transfer period and submitted improved offers to players.
The Red Devils initially offered £45 million and a bonus to the 25-year-old attacker, but Brentford wasn’t enthusiastic. Journalist Ben Jacobs confirmed that Manchester United has filed a second offer over £60 million to close the transaction.
Bryan Mbeumo will be a great signature
Mbeumo is one of the best offensive players in the Premier League and could prove to be a great acquisition. He will be an expensive acquisition, but he has the ability to justify his investment in the long term.
The players have contributed 29 goals this season, allowing them to improve Manchester United in the future. He can act as an attacker on the right and as a central forward. He is said to be an “unplayable” player, the “making leader.”
The player enters the peak of his career and the opportunity to join one of the world’s biggest clubs is extremely exciting for him. Manchester United will be an attractive destination for players.
Man United need quality players
Manchester United lost their Premier League campaign last year and failed to win the UEFA Europa League despite reaching the final. They need to improve their teams to bounce back hard next year and win the trophy.
They have already signed the wolf Mashwas Kunya, and he can not only move forward as the center, but also operate as the front on the left. Mbeumo could be an ideal acquisition with him. Manchester United should also try to invest in trustworthy strikers.
It remains to be seen whether Brentford is ready to accept the improved offers from Manchester United. Cameroon International is an exceptional player and they wouldn’t want to lose him easily.
