Man United have been moving during the summer transfer, despite not losing qualifications for Europe next season. Matheus Cunha has already signed it, but the Bryan Mbeumo deal will also be finalised in the coming weeks. And they are not the only attackers to participate.
Strikers are also being sought, and Man United officials are not ready to turn to Rasmus Hozilund and Joshua Ziltsky for another season. But on top of this, yet another winger/attack midfielder might be looking for. If this is the case, one possible option could be Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma.
Man United told Cal Mitoma to do the summer move
Speaking to Metro (via TeamTalk), the former Man United Player Gary Pallister believes Mitoma’s move should be considered in addition to the Cunha and Mbeumo deal.
“I didn’t think there were enough offensive options, and I’ve seen what Carmitoma can do in the Premier League. Marcus Rashford might leave the club. Amado Diallo was the only step forward to hitting his top level before getting injured. The club needs backup in those areas.
Mitoma has already attracted interest from Premier League clubs in recent weeks. Arsenal has him as an option for left field position, but Liverpool is also linked. However, as shown in the case of Cunha and Mbeumo, Man United is more than able to convince players to join, despite not having European football next season.
It remains to be seen whether Mithoma will leave Brighton this summer. If so, the move towards Old Trafford could be a possibility.
