The Los Angeles will return to their much-anticipated pitching with the launch of three MVP Shohei Ohtani, making their debut on the mound in the uniform. Some new insights have been shared from the season when he last stepped into the rubber as fans patiently waited for Otani to return to his two-way star status.
Snation’s Doug McCain defeated Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register to someone very familiar with Otani’s prowess on either side of the Los Angeles Angels ball.

Fletcher discussed how perfect the timing of Otani’s MLB arrival was, and how the potential of an MLB career from high school ruined the two-way excellence fans are used to.
“I’ve always believed he really liked pitching,” Fletcher told McCain on a recent episode of Dugout Live. “You know, it’s funny because at the beginning of his career, when he first came to the US, people didn’t think he was a batter. “He’s just a pitcher and he’s not going to make it as a batter. This is ridiculous.
It’s hard to imagine that the three MVP winners who hit more than 50 home runs in MLB history and steal more than 50 bases might not have been able to pick up bats in North America if he came to the state earlier than before. But that was mostly the case.
“When he walked through,” Fletcher added.
“But I think his ultimate choice is to do both because he wants to be unique. He wants to do things that no one can.
It appears he will return to the hill, so it is most important for the to use Otani in the most efficient way possible, and the natural point that comes out is to change Otani from a starting pitcher to a likely relief role.
Fletcher joked that Otani’s routine is so long that if he does the rescue look, he would need a 30-minute stop for him to prepare, but he spoke seriously about what’s best for the MVP.
“It’s a big routine and it’s a great starter for him.”
Coming closer to his pitching debut, Otani hopes he will return to his two-way domination and continue doing things that MLB has never seen over a century.
