Tottenham needs squad depth in the Champions LeaguePremier League clubs are interested in Elanga

Tottenham saved the season by winning the Europa League under Ange Postecoglou.

Their league format was extremely disappointing when they finished 17th in Premier League standings last season.

Even if he had won Silverware, the Spurs would not have saved Post-Coglow’s job at the club as they approached Brentford’s Thomas Frank.

It is clear that he needs new additions to his team, especially his attacking position.

Tottenham needs squad depth in the Champions League

The Spurs have to win the Europa League and qualify for the Champions League, and improve the quality of their teams, and have begun working towards that by identifying transfer targets.

According to TBR Football, Tottenham is interested in Nottingham Forest Winger Anthony Elanga’s move, with the player reportedly being valued at around £60 million by the current club.

Under Thomas Frank, when Tottenham focuses on dynamic wideplaying, Elanga becomes a key target.

His ability to develop defense, cut inside and supply opportunities can be well integrated into Frank’s playing style.

Still, it’s risky to invest around £60 million in one winger in a financial model to match the sale.

Successful Champions League qualifiers will bring revenue, but the Spurs will need to balance the Marquee signings.

Tottenham is not alone in their interests. Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United are all tracking the situation in Elanga.

Elanga is pleased with Nottingham Forest and is understood to not actively seek movement this summer, and there is no immediate desire to leave the city ground before next season.

Bringing Elanga to Tottenham represents a positive step in strengthening your attacking options. However, his arrival could potentially put Brennan Johnson’s location in a threatening starting lineup.

Nevertheless, the Spurs need depth for their teams, and Elanga is the player who can provide it.

The North London Club has also been warned about the availability of Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.
