Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalges suggests he is open about how Brazilian teammate Rodrigo wants to go to Gunner.
Real Madrid, which can be outgoing either side or widely, is the subject of some recent forwarding news reports, suggesting that he may be available in this window.
Gabriel is clearly a huge Rodrigo fan. He spoke with the Popper Podcast about Madrid Ace, so he made it clear that he would sign him to Arsenal if it was up to him.
Gabriel also appears to be strongly hinting that there have already been told by the Arsenal people about the possibility of Rodrigo’s move.
Gabriel sings praises of target Rodrigo, who moves to Arsenal
When asked about Rodrigo and Arsenal, Gabriel said:
“Rodrigo is a phenomenon for me. He’s not at Arsenal. If it was dependent on me, I’ve already told people, he’s a phenomenon.
“His name is often mentioned. If it’s up to me, of course.”
This follows yesterday’s independent report that Rodrygo could be made available as it is not suitable for the new real manager Xabi Alonso.
What Fabrizio Romano said about Rodrygo and Arsenal
Meanwhile, the trustworthy Fabrizio Romano has admitted via his YouTube channel that he has interest from Arsenal, even if he has not yet made progress.
“Rodrigo is a highly regarded player by Arsenal, and I have no doubts about that,” he said recently.
“It’s true that he’s a player they like. Certainly Arsenal will add important wingers to the team this season, so Arsenal will be busy with strikers and wingers the following week.
“Rodrigo is their internal favorite player. Of course they’re great players, top top players. But at this point, Real Madrid has yet to receive official approaches, official talks, bids and so on.
“At this point, there is an internal thanks to Rodrigo, but Real Madrid has not yet received a formal proposal or formal approach.
“Let’s see what Arsenal does. It’s probably going to depend on the budget too. How much they have to spend on the winger. This will be important.”
