Nine years after a fierce argument with Metta World Peace, Draymond Green makes the "not scared" claim

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green has been exploiting an argument during his NBA career.

In many cases, Draymond Greene is at the top of the aforementioned argument. Even if that means that a talented teammate like Jordan Poole is being traded.

However, during the 2015-16 NBA season, the Golden State Warriors star appears to have come across his game when he gets caught up in the Los Angeles Lakers Metta World Peace (Ron Artest).

Nine years after the infamous conflict, Green has made it clear about what really fell between him and world peace.

Like Green, at the height of his career, World Peace was a sensational defender and won the NBA 2003-04 Defensive Player of the Year Award.

In fact, both have aggressive playing styles in hardwoods, so this doesn’t end with the similarities. However, when the showdown took place in 2016, the peace between Green and the World quickly resolved it.

This led to fans calling for Green as he believed he was scared of an argument with the Laker star at the time.

“Yeah, I’ll take this out of context. I wasn’t scared. But here’s the beautiful part about this situation. I’m not scared, he’s not scared,” Green said on the podcast.

He added: “And, you know, when you two aren’t scared, that’s when you move on.

When Green gave a revelation about the infamous faceoff, Artest nodded his head in agreement, endorsing the Warriors star.

Greene goes multiple times to make that point clear when he respects the man despite being known for his uncontrollable attacks in court.

As he explained, he did the same with Artest.

It may have taken almost a decade, but NBA fans finally know the truth about the quarrel between Green and world peace.

So no matter how much people were hinted at, there was no possibility that another “palace malice” was happening due to Metta.
