Shai Gilgeous-Alexander gave clutch performances in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. He was impressed with coach Mark Deenu by winning the game by scoring 15 of his team’s final 16 points.

The Oklahoma City Thunder struggled throughout Game 4 against the Indiana Pacers. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander looked more passive during this game, but he raised it in the final minutes.

They tied the NBA Finals 2-2, which was an incredible performance from Thunder. The Pacers may have gone 3-1, but Gilgeous-Alexander had different plans in his outstanding fourth quarter.

Thunder head coach Mark Dean-nee only praised his superstar. He was pleased with Gill Alexander’s great night against Andrew Nenbird’s impressive defense.

After scoring 20 points in the first three quarters, most people felt that Gilgauss Alexander was having a rough night. SGA stepped up to the clutch by playing his unprotected style.

In the fourth quarter, he scored 15 points. He scored 15 of the Thunder’s final 16 points, indicating that he had brought the victory. The rest of the team played well, but it was Gilgus Alexander who had the best night out of them.

Daigneault avoided 1-3 holes, which makes him feel uplifted enough to understand the clutch results. They tied the Series 2-2 and regained their home court advantage back to Oklahoma City for Monday’s game.

“He’s clearly unrealistic. He really closed that offensively. He and Dub did a great job there.

“It was a difficult game against a great team, one of the best teams in the league,” Daigneault said after Game 4.

“We got it when we weren’t having a great night offensively… They’re a great team and one of the best teams since the All-Star break. They’re doing incredible runs in the playoffs.”

Throughout the 2024-25 season, Gilgeous-Alexander has proven he is one of the best players. The MVP Award winner for Trophy Cabinet has evidence of an epic season and a strong NBA Finals run.

However, the question mark still surrounds him, as some people do not believe in his status as an MVP. Game 4 was proof of his worth as Thunder easily lost this game without clutch performance.

This was a performance that silenced suspicions of continuing his talk about free throw shooting.

“That’s what it’s all about. It’s the moment when you win, especially at this time of the season. Every team is good. It comes down to that moment and you want to play the game that won,” SGA said after Game 4.

“I enjoy those moments, I love those moments. Good or bad. When I was a kid, I shot in the driveway and count down the clock for those moments.”

His clutch quarter should convince more people to look into his contributions to OKC. Gilgeous-Alexander is the best player on a championship-level team, two games away from the title.
