Although they have already beaten the banks this month after the arrival of Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ayt Nouri and AC Milan Ace Tijani Rayjunders, it is no secret that Manchester City is facing a vital summer behind the scenes in Manchester.

Pep Guardiola’s men have put a lot of pressure on their shoulders and have concluded the 2024/25 campaign without a single silverware to show that Pep Guardiola’s men are in trouble, as the former Premier League champions face a major rebuild.

Already watching the attack icon, Kevin De Bruin is finishing up a sensational decade of spell in Etihad. Man City focuses on a complete overhaul of Manchester’s blue half, with many of their biggest names appearing to be heading for the exit this summer.

Omitting some of the longtime superstars from the FIFA Club World Cup team this summer, some of England’s International are considered surplus in the requirements and appear to be already looking for a new club before next season.

Jack Grellish

Arrived in Etihad for the UK’s record transfer fee of £100 million in the summer of 2021, Jack Grelish is venturing into Manchester City with enough pressure to meet his eye-opening price tag.

However, the former Aston Villa star may have won three top flight titles and a famous Champions League winner medal during his four-year stay, but Grelish couldn’t find true stability in Manchester.

He was not even included in Guardiola’s Club World Cup team, and left home while his teammate was traveling to the US. The 29-year-old doesn’t seem to have any future in Etihad, and his departure seems almost certain.

Grelesh Greash reportedly has gained a whopping £300,000 and has been used to warming up the bench, having significantly registered four Premier League goals over the past two years.

Featuring just a minute of Premier League action starting in mid-April, Grealish has embraced that his future is far from Etihad, and it appears that all political parties are working to find a quick exit from the former British champions.

Kyle Walker

After completing the Switch in January, Kyle Walker endured an inactive loan stint at Italian giants AC Milan and found himself in roughly the same position as Grail, and Manchester City has made abundantly clear that England International is not part of Guardiola’s future plans.

As it appears that a nasty divorce could be on the card, Walker was also omitted from City’s Club World Cup team, with the Sky Blues telling Extottenham defenders to find a new club before the 2025/26 campaign.

AC Milan last month made the 35-year-old move unveiled that he had no intention of making it a permanent move, so Walker found himself sitting at Limbo this summer.

Now, in the final year of his current contract with Etihad, City has already made it clear that six Premier League winners will not be offered extensions. Walker is on real career crossroads.

With interest from the Middle East reported, this week Jose Mourinho’s Fennabafe reached out to Walker’s representative and was keen to launch a summer deal.

James McAtee

James McAtee may be playing the leading role for England’s Under 21 at the European Championships this summer, but Manchester City Academy alumni are at the heart of the up-and-coming transfer saga.

Despite appearing to solidify his spot as a regular first-team star under Guardiola last season, 15 appearances in the Premier League and appearing to be solidifying his spot. The 22-year-old appears to be permanently pushed out of Etihad.

This has led to the city being reported to be cash-hearted this summer, with McAtee not interested from all over the continent and now officially entering the country in the final year of the contract.

With the Premier League clubs making their intentions clear, it is also suggested that new Bayer Lebakusen boss Eric Ten Hag is a long-term admirer of Macate and is eager to bring former Sheffield United lenders to Germany.

While many around Etihad may have accepted that Grail and Walker’s respective departures are perfect for rebuilding the club this summer, there is a section of their support that is frustrating at the exit of the homemade starlet.

🚨🆕VFB Stuttgart added James #mcatee on their list of candidates. They are closely monitoring his situation and have already gathered all relevant information. #VFB I’ve seen some profiles for his position.
