Real Madrid reportedly hopes to sign Liverpool centre back Ibrahima Conate when he becomes free agent in the summer of 2026.
The Spanish giants just snapped Trent Alexander Arnold from Liverpool when they got off to a deal at Anfield, but in the end they didn’t actually move for free.
Madrid brought Alexander Arnold early and paid a small fee to register him for the Club World Cup this summer.
However, since many of the deals had already been agreed, it is likely that England International moved to the Bernabeu after officially becoming free agent anyway.
And according to Marca, they apparently target conate from red, so the real thing wants to repeat the trick.
Conate’s Ibrahima among Real Madrid’s targets
As Antonio L Digger is not younger, Real is able to plan future plans for defense, but Edder’s Militau had some injuries issues.
So Conate shines in Liverpool and could make perfect sense for the Los Blancos, which seem to be available immediately.
Interestingly, Conate could now be Madrid’s preferred target in Arsenal’s defense against William Saliba.
Fabrizio Romano recently reported Catch off side That Saliba was still on the radar in the real world, even after signing his position with Dean Huizen this summer.
Liverpool should maintain conate
Conate is a key player in Liverpool’s defense and he will have a key role to play in the future as Virgil van Dick cannot last forever.
The LFC recently linked the experienced Dutch to a new deal, but he certainly past his peak.
Liverpool fans hope that the club will do their best to retain Conate and secure a new contract as soon as possible.
