There may have been a lot of excitement around Old Trafford in November after Reuben Amorim’s arrival, but Manchester United broke unnecessary records last season.
The former sports Lisbon boss is already putting a lot of pressure on his shoulders as many fans around Manchester’s red half reveal his frustration in abundance following the tragic finish in 15th place.
With only 44 Premier League strikes last season, only one club outside the trio record being kicked out and few top-flight strikes, the majority of United’s struggle was a prominent issue in the final third.
This strongly suggested that offensive reinforcements could be set to immediate Serie A returns this summer, so it’s no surprise that offensive reinforcements will be at the top of Amorim’s wish list ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
We’ve seen the impressive star linked to the blockbuster Manchester Switch as Old Trafford tiers reveal that Amorim will be heavily supported when the summer transfer window reopens.
Viktor Gyoker-Sport Lisbon
Last season, launching Sports Lisbon into the record-breaking 21st Prime Raliga crown, it was almost certainly apparent that Viktor Gyoker would be at the heart of the heavyweight relocation saga this summer.
Since completing a permanent switch from Coventry in the Championship outfit two years ago, the Swedish archer has embarked on a sensational-shaped run, quickly highlighting its position as one of Europe’s elite number nines.
Last season, reeling his way into Portugal’s golden boots, the 27-year-old registered an astonishing 97 goals in 102 appearances in all Lisbon tournaments.
However, Gyoker may have a release clause in his current contract, which is believed to be in the £85 million area in his current contract, but the parties suddenly find themselves in a troublesome public divorce.
It has been widely reported last summer that the sports class revealed last summer that they would allow their impressive talisman to leave £59 million after agreeing to stay in another year.
It is suggested that Gyoker has not been opened to the Old Trafford Switch this summer, despite Amorim making it clear he is desperate for a blockbuster reunion with previous major marksmen.
Biktor Gyökeres’ priorities are to join Arsenal this summer despite calls from Manchester United in recent weeks.
Gyökeres has always been an option while Shashko discusses what has not been sealed so far, and Arsenal continues to assess the situation.

Hugo Ekikte – Eintrak Frankfurt
It has been reported that Manchester United is squeezing other options as Sports Lisbon plays hardball and increases frustration from all parties.
Hugo Ekitike may have only made his move to Eintracht Frankfurt permanent last summer, but the former PSG starlet has blossomed into one of the most European varieties in Europe after attacking talent.
He scored 22 goals in all competitions last season, leading the charges for Frankfurt’s sensational bronze medal finish. It is no secret that French youths are linked to many of the European elites.
Frankfurt may have publicly stated that he would not be forced to accept any kind of cut price offer, but it is widely accepted that Ekitike will be allowed to leave Deutsche Bank Park if there is an acceptable bid.
Over the past few months, it has been reported that Ekitike has been set to look to secure a sweeping Premier League switch this summer.
However, it was suggested that Manchester United have moved to pole position over the weekend as it is expected to increase to some degree over the next few weeks.

Jean-Philippe Mateta-Crystal Palace
Last week it may have been suggested that Man United was squeezing the potential bid for England International Ebeki Eze, but Amorim’s side had linked to another Crystal Palace Talisman.
With Crystal Palace taking the lead role as they won the Maiden FA Cup crown last month and helping the Eagles secure their iconic Europa League adventures next year, Gian Philippe Mateta enjoys an astonishing run in the past two campaigns.
Having 30 Premier League goals in the last two campaigns, the former Mainz Marksman will become a cult figure in South London, and the Palace will maintain all his strength to retain the 27 year old this summer.
Mateta, one of the premier league standout strikers last season, has linked multiple opportunities to travel to Old Trafford over the past 12 months.
However, while Amorim may have been heavily reported as a huge admirer of Crystal Palace’s major archer last season, Mateta is discussing a new contract at Selhurst Park, and Manchester United has a real mountain to climb.
