Stephen Curry made history once again on March 13th as he drained the 4,000th career of his career with the Golden State Warriors victory and the Sacramento Kings.

The four-time NBA champion picked up where he left off as he added 28 points in his next game against the New York Knicks to lead his team to a 97-94 victory in the night.

At 37, he plays some great basketball and now with Jimmy Butler and lineup, the Warriors look good enough to run another championship.

Having secured all his glory over a 16-year long career, he has named him in the greatest conversations of all time, but Curry has further enhanced his legacy as the greatest point guard of all time.

Many believe the Warriors star is the best point guard of all time, but Stephen A. Smith isn’t.

The NBA Countdown Show has been discussing the influence of Stephen Curry and how great he has been in the league for many years.

Perkins named Curry the best point guard of all time, but Smith took the exception to his comment, saying, “You want to call him the best point guard for Magic Johnson to live when he’s right in this city.

Smith said Curry’s impact on the court was different, but Johnson was actually a player who had all the qualities needed to be a point guard.

“When you hear them about Magic Johnson being a facilitator, you get others to get the typical explanation of the point guard belongs to Magic Johnson.

“You can shoot from 30, 40, 50 (ft) so you can protect this brother past half court, so you can protect this brother, so you can turn your head, so when you talk about the impact from position.

“His conditioning is sublime, and all of them would refer to verifying Steph Curry what you (Perkins) said about him.

“It’s a sacrifice to just leave these things out and just throw away the ‘best point guard ever’ when Magic Johnson is still alive in the city,” Smith added.

Curry became the greatest 3-point holder of all time in 2021, and has since continued to assert his domination beyond the Ark.

It took him over three years to join the 4,000 three club, but it’s fair to think about whether he can break the 5,000 mark.

He still plays the best basketball of his career, so if he stays healthy he can certainly reach the mark.

His teammate Draymond Green had an interesting view on his achievements and the possibility that curry could reach 5,000 threes.

“If he can get 5,000, it’s a question of whether he wants that type of energy and effort.

“And if he wants, he’ll get 5,000 before anyone else gets 4,000,” Green said on “The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis.”

When Butler appears on the team, Curry is playing more freely, and if he continues for several years, he is undoubtedly violating the 5000 three mark.
