Owen Farrell says he has no regrets about the transition to Racing 92 and the top 14 after confirming that he will return to Saracen after a season in France.

Farrell’s return to England was announced Monday following a troubling campaign that was injured throughout the channel. He signed a two-year contract with the Saracens.

The Premiership Club paid 92 races in the 200,000 euro area, sources confirmed to ESPN.

He doesn’t plan his time in France accurately, but the 33-year-old said he has no regrets.

“I’m glad we did it. I’m grateful. The place was great. There was a lot of potential in the race and people were great with me.

“I’m clearly disappointed in the way it turned out, but I’m happy that we’ve done it and gained experience.”

Farrell fought a variety of injuries during his time in the race. In other words, the game time was limited.

“It’s tough getting hurt, and I’ve never had that kind of year, especially during this period,” he said.

“It’s just you have to sit with yourself and handle anything you’re going for. We enjoyed it, but it was obviously difficult not to get on the pitch as much as you want.

“I went and didn’t regret it.”

He missed the location of the British and Ireland Lions squad, but his father, Andy, coach – Farrell, said he had not retired from international rugby.

After the 2023 World Cup, Farrell announced he would be leaving the international stage for IS.

His return to England means that he is once again qualified on Steve Borthwick’s side.

“The only point for me right now is to go back here and love what I’m doing,” he said.

“I really think I can do that, and hopefully put me in a really good place to make a good impact here, and who knows after that.

Information from ESPN’s Tom Hamilton contributed to this report.
