The 2025 NBA Draft is just over a week. Ahead of the June 25th draft, ESPN’s Jonathan Givony gave him the latest insight into what he’s listening to.

Givony noted that Ace Bailey’s draft stock is falling due to “disgust” meeting with teams and training. This strategy leading up to the 2025 NBA Draft has baffled observers around the league. According to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony, Bailey considers him to be the top three player in this year’s draft. Plus, Bailey wants a clear path to stardom. Are all these requests before a draft enough for Bailey to see his draft stock slip?

Jonathan Givony is ESPN’s NBA draft expert. He has the latest Inter and information from sources around the league. In Givony’s recent mock draft, Rutgers’ Ace Bailey dropped from pick 3 to pick 6. Originally, Bailey was predicted to be the 76ers’ third overall pick. However, in Givony’s mock draft, Philadelphia chose Baylor’s VJ Edgecombe for his third overall pick. Ace Bailey was selected for the sixth by Washington for several picks.

Prior to the 2025 NBA Draft, Ace Bailey rejected the offer that the team would visit within his range or carry out one training session. Jonathan Gibbonney believes this is why Bailey’s draft stock is moving in the wrong direction. He said the 18-year-old is scheduled to train with the 76ers on Friday. Can he return the tide in his favor and win Philadelphia and their ownership?

His camp informed the team that Bailey believes he is the top three pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Plus, Bailey wants a clear path to NBA stardom. It’s a lot to ask for players that aren’t guaranteed franchise players. Bailey is a talented player, but not as sophisticated as the other players in this class. So ESPN’s Jonathan Givony could see Rutgers’ Ace Bailey being drafted higher than the third pick. The 2025 NBA Draft is Wednesday, June 25th.
