During the 2011-12 NBA season, the New York Knicks fanbase saw one of the best individuals It is performed by the player.

Yes, during the New York Knicks’ “Linsanity Run” in February 2012, he was nothing but Jeremy Lin.

More than a decade later, Lynn’s 13-game stretch for the Knicks is still loved by NBA fans around the world. After all, during the Linsanity Run, Lin won the Knicks 10.

In these 13 games, Lin averaged 22.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 9.0 assists per game in the franchise. However, Lynn had the help of one of his Knicks teammates through his legendary run.

During the incredible run, Lin became a bench player to starter for the team. Lynn has been praised for running many times, but the former NBA star recently thanked his former teammate Tyson Chandler.

In an interview with ESPN’s Omar Raja, Lin discussed the importance of chemistry with Chandler during the Linsanity run.

“Well, Tyson is like the ultimate teammate. He doesn’t always show up. Sometimes he shows up on the stats sheet because he scored, but he set a great screen and scored because he rolled hard every time.

“But you don’t get a lot of people who set up the screen and roll really hard against a really good defensive team,” Lynn said of Chandler.

He added: “There are low people in a good defensive team, and it’s a very selfless job to have the weak side coming in, but he did it perfectly and never complained.”

Being a selfish player is a very underrated quality of an NBA role player. Lynn had dropped an insane number, including a 38-point performance against La Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

Chandler may have been jealous of his Knicks teammates, but Lynn reveals that the former NBA star has always played his role.

“If he got one, ten or twenty shots, he was still trying to play a role, and for me it was simple.

“He’s the ultimate teammate and ultimate leader, so I liked playing with him. He was going to set up a good screen.

“As long as I could engage a little big, I could throw it anywhere and he went and got it,” he concluded.

This is certainly a new take on Linsanity Run as it helps to show how other Knicks players have invested in it as much as they have during their 13-game stretch.

Lynn ended up finishing the 2011-12 season with 14.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 6.2 assists per Knicks game in the cool off.
