Fabio Quartarraro is said to be “great” after a hospital trip after practice at MotoGP in Italy.
Quartaro went to a hospital in Florence on Friday afternoon, following what actually called a “partial dislocation” in his left shoulder.
The monster energy Yamaha rider crashed at the opening 15 minutes of the session, but was able to return while driving to finish the fifth fastest session.
Since then, Yamaha has confirmed that the tests Quartaro took at the hospital did not raise any concerns, describing him as “great” in a statement Friday evening.
“After further medical checks in Florence, all test results from Fabio (Quartararo) are OK,” reads a statement regarding the Monster Energy Yamaha Team’s X (formerly Twitter) account.
“He’s all good and on his way back to the circuit. So good news!”
Fabio Cartalaro joined factory Yamaha teammate Alex Lyns in making the top 10 along with Alex Lyns, who is actually seventh fastest in Muguero in practice in Italy on Friday.
KTM’s Maverick Vienal was the top of the practice, but Honda was the only manufacturer to completely miss the top 10 spot on Friday afternoon.
