Leeds United attacker Mateo Joseph is set to face off against the club about his future soon.
The 21-year-old Spanish Youth International has revealed that he will hold Leeds and Crunch talks on his future, and hopes to play more frequently next season. Joseph has linked his moves that have been apart over the past few weeks.
Leeds planned
“The lack of clarity about my future will not affect me,” he told AS.
“I’m very focused on tournaments. I have to talk to Leeds, not yet. And then anything that has to happen happens. This is certainly the best thing for everyone.
“The season is just over, and we have to stop and evaluate. We’ve been promoted to the Premier League. I’ll make sure the club is saying, but I want to play more to continue growing.”
Leeds has been promoted to the Premier League and he is trying to make his mark on top flights. It remains to be seen whether Leeds is ready to give him the opportunity to show off his abilities in the Premier League next year.
Mateo Joseph could be a useful player
Leeds needs more quality and depth with their offensive units, and the 21-year-old could be a future asset for them. They need to focus on his development so that he can realize his potential. Sitting on the Leeds bench is unlikely to benefit him, and it is fair to assume that the player can fish for the exit if Leeds doesn’t want to provide him with a guarantee of the game.
He is definitely a talented young player with a bright future. Leeds should do everything on their own to keep him at the club. Chelsea keeps him the tab.
The players were impressed with the euro below 21 euro with Spain. His country was knocked out by the UK in the quarterfinals of the competition, and he is expected to sit with Leeds and discuss his future. It is still unknown how the situation will develop.
