According to Ex-Villa Scout Bryan King, 31-year-old Digne is still worth it in the market, and Villa is understood to be looking for fees in areas ranging from £5-10 million.
While speaking to Villa News, King said:
“Digne is 31 now.
“He also only has a year left on the contract, so the Villa clearly feels this is the time to sell. If the offer is good, I think the Villa is ready to accept it.
“I think they’re looking for between £5-10 million for Dignet.”
The decision to move the digne so that it appears that villas will reinvest in the squad regions that need to be cut and strengthened wage bills.
