Tsunoda’s Formula One carrier “hangs in the thread” following the difficult Austrian Grand Prix.

Tsunoda finished his final finisher with 16th place in the race at the Red Bull Ring on Sunday.

The Japanese driver was the only driver to be lap twice on a ferocious day for Red Bull.

Tsunoda also felt the brunt of the Formula 1 steward and scored a 10-second penalty to collide with Alpine’s Franco Colapinto.

Like his predecessor, Liam Lawson, Tsunoda struggles to grasp the RB21.

The best tsunami results since joining Red Bull are No. 9 in Bahrain, following the Austrian Grand Prix, he sits behind Lawson in the driver’s ranking.

The weekend was something I should have forgotten about for Red Bull.

Max Verstappen suffered from his first DNF of the year after being taken from the race by Kimi Antonelli on the opening lap.

As a result, Red Bull boss Christian Horner declared that they no longer have any thoughts on this year’s World Championships.

Verstappen was hoping to become the second driver in Formula 1 history and win five straight driver titles.

The future of Formula 1 is doubtful

According to reputable BBC F1 journalist Andrew Benson, Zonodha’s career is at risk.

Though it’s unlikely that Hounda’s immediate future in Red Bull is under threat, his chances to stay for next year look very slim.

Tsunoda chose Lawson instead, which was initially overlooked by Red Bull.

After a race in Austria on the BBC’s Checkered Flag Podcast, Benson expressed doubt about whether the hornedas would remain on the grid, even outside the stables of Red Bull.

“I think we should say something about the horneda, he had a terrible, terrible day,” Benson said.

“Verstappen, first lap, third corner, Red Bull needed Tsunoda to do a strong race. OK, he had a bad qualification.

“But he drove like he was in F1 for five minutes, not five years.

“He had two conflicts, but the second collision with Franco Colapinto, who was penalised for 10 seconds, was very clumsy and ended in the end.

“This is the guy who currently has a Formula 1 career hanging in threads and I don’t see him taking over the end of this year.”
