The podium in the final race at Snetterton BSB comes after a weekend when Leon Haslam said he was “missing a bit of a pace” from the start, but the 2018 champions are optimistic in this weekend’s race at Knock Hill.
Haslam’s Snettan podium was his first since winning race two at Alton Park.
“For me, Snetterton was our first weekend and we showed up, we were struggling with some small issues that we were struggling to get on top, so we were missing out on the pace a little.”
“The team really worked and we were able to find the pace in that final race and get the podium, so we got a lot of credibility in the team, which was the first time we’ve run it hot, so for me, at Ducati, it was in Snettan.
Looking forward to Knock Hill, Haslam added that he hopes to “redipate” himself on the Scotland circuit after being injured in 2024 after a crash in Race 3.
“In the last few years at Knock Hill, I have struggled a bit, I’ve been injured over the last few years.
“So I’m excited to ride a Ducati there and I think I can run to the ground because I’ve always been one of my favorite circuits.”
