Liverpool attacker Louis Diaz has linked his move away from the club during the summer transfer.
The Colombian has been an important player for Liverpool since joining the club, and Liverpool has been reluctant to sell him this summer. The players are also linked to Bayern Munich.
Lewis Dias Agent trying to engineer a move
According to a report from the Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, the player’s agent contacted Barcelona and informed them that his client could be transferred this summer.
It appears that the player’s agents are offering players to Spanish clubs, contrary to Liverpool’s wishes. The report claims that players’ agents think Liverpool will be open to forwarding sooner than they are late. They have already spent a lot of money on new signatures and can cash them out to Colombians if the right offers are presented.
It remains to be seen whether Barcelona will come forward with an offer to sign the player. They were keen to sign Nico Williams instead, but the movement is stagnant. Lewis Diaz’s agents are now trying to make the most of the opportunities and ensure that their clients move.
Lewis Diaz might be seduced
The opportunity to participate in the Spanish champions is exciting for players. South Americans tend to support their move to Spain, and Barcelona is one of the largest clubs in the world. The player has already shown his quality in the UK, and he has won a big trophy with Liverpool. He may feel this is the right time for him to take on a new challenge.
It will be interesting to see if Barcelona acts on their interests and comes forward with offers to sign players. It’s not easy to convince Liverpool to sell him. He is an important player for the club and the Reds are deeply lacking in a wide area. They wouldn’t want to lose South America easily.
